About this painting: This is the second painting in the Inception series (of two paintings so far).

There's ongoing debate about the origins of nature, humanity, and all other living beings. Some believe it's all governed by a divine power — God. Others hold to the theory of evolution. The mystery remains unresolved, and this painting is my humble attempt to reflect on that question of origin — not to answer it, but to let each viewer arrive at their own conclusion. The textures and colors, rich golds and pinks, are meant to evoke the richness of that experience: the wonder of discovery, felt in whatever way it speaks to you.
