About this painting: This is second of the six paintings, I have created so far in Transcendence Series (3-6 being studies only).
Transcendence, literally means the act of rising above ordinary limits, overcoming physical or material constraints, and connecting with something greater than the self. It involves surpassing usual boundaries, whether spiritual, philosophical, or everyday psychological context.
Throughout my life, I have been experiencing instances of transcendence, wherein it seems like I am talking to a being beyond the physical and worldly being. The more I think about it, the more I feel there is a divine, mystical being guiding and enlightening my life—sometimes, periodically, and often. This series captures that feeling of transcendence on canvas. It reflects my spiritual connection to a guiding, powerful yet gentle force. I hope viewers feel the same when they see Transcendence 1.
